We would like to hear about the impact the end of the EBSS will have on households in Britain

The government’s £400 energy bills support scheme (EBSS) ends this month.

The energy price guarantee (EPG) will remain at £2,500 a year until the end of June. But households will no longer receive the £67 a month in support, and standing charges will increase.

The government announced a £900 cash boost for more than 8 million eligible means-tested benefits claimants, including people on universal credit, pension credit and tax credits, paid in three instalments between this spring and spring 2024.

There will also be a separate £150 for more than 6 million disabled people, due to be paid in the summer, and £300 for more than 8 million pensioners during winter 2023-24.

We would like to hear how people in Britain will be affected by the end of the EBSS. Do you qualify for the other types of support recently announced? Have you been contacted by your energy provider about rising standing charges? How will you be affected? What will your bill look like next month?
