The Kier Group is a property, residential, construction and services group. It provides waste and recycling and environmental services for 22 local authorities in the UK, and has contracts in a range of other council service areas, including highways maintenance. In 2015 it took over infrastructure, outsourcing and business services company Mouchel, which held a number of contracts with local councils.
