On Monday 2 March 2020, after years of failure under the control of private companies, Northern rail will be officially re-nationalised!

To mark this momentous day, passengers and workers are coming together for a Day of Action across the North of England to demand that Transport Secretary Grant Shapps keeps Northern in public ownership.
 
The RMT union is organising morning events in Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds and Carlisle, and passengers have organised events in Sheffield, Wakefield, Wigan and York. 
 
Join us to celebrate the back of Arriva and demand a democratic, publicly owned system run in the interests of passengers and workers, not shareholders. Looking forward to seeing you there!
