Protest for a publicly owned railway

Frustrated with ever-rising train fares? Want to see a publicly owned and run railway? Join the protest next Monday 5th January at stations around the country.

Taking the train is getting more and more expensive (fares are increasing by up to 5% this January), but it doesn't need to be this way. A publicly owned railway would save money and could reduce our fares by 18% across the board.

We Own It is making the case for public ownership together with Action for Rail, Bring Back British Rail, Compass, the Campaign Against Climate Change, the People's Assembly and local groups.

Join in the action on the 5th at a railway station near you - find out more here or sign up on facebook.
