We are fighting for permanent public ownership of Thames Water.

Thames Water is on the brink of collapse. It's drowning in debt, and miserably failing to meet its statutory duties. It's likely that the government will soon have to bring it into Special Administration, a form of temporary public ownership.

This is a huge opportunity.

The government will have to make a choice. It can prioritise profit by re-privatising. Or, the government can put people and the environment first by choosing permanent public ownership.

We are calling on MPs to pledge that - if and when Thames Water comes into Special Administration - they will call for permanent public ownership.
