Let's push for more. Join our ICS Day of Action on Saturday June 11th!
From the 1st of July 2022 our NHS across England will be reorganised. England will be divided into 42 new NHS bodies called Integrated Care Systems (ICS).
After 20,500 We Own It supporters emailed NHS leaders in the last few weeks, the chairs of 8 ICSs have come out and pledged that private companies won’t sit on their boards.
So it’s time to push harder and force more of them to make the pledge, or to go further for patients not profits. Join our Day of Action on Saturday, 11th June to help pile on the pressure.
This Day of Action is supported by Keep Our NHS Public and Unite Community.
By doing ONLY one out of these three kinds of actions, you can have a huge impact today:
1. You can send a message directly to your local NHS chair in 3 easy steps:
i. On a plain sheet of paper, write out the message: "Dear [*name of your town] NHS leaders, let's rebuild our local NHS together and keep private companies out" ,
ii. Take a selfie with your message.
iii. Use our tool to tweet your picture (or email it to us at info@weownit.org.uk if you don't use Twitter or live in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland)
2. Join a local action near you today.
Scroll to the bottom of this page to find out where actions are happening and if one is happening near you.
3. Distribute leaflets by yourself or with friends and family on your local high street.
This action is only for people who have received leaflet deliveries from us.
