All we want for Christmas is NHS protection

27 November 2020

All we want for Christmas is NHS protection! As a minimum, in order to protect our NHS, MPs need to have the power to scrutinise trade deals.

In July, Conservative MPs voted AGAINST an amendment to scrutinise trade deals, by a margin of 326 to 263. Now, the Trade Bill is due to be back in Parliament very soon.

We need YOUR help to persuade 100 key Conservatives to REBEL against the government, to take back control, to give themselves the power to PROTECT our NHS in trade deals.

Will you deliver a Christmas card to one of the target list of 100 Conservative MPs, calling on them to protect our NHS?

Here's what you need to do:

1) Pick the nearest constituency to you from the target list of 100 below.

2) Sign up to take action in that constituency on Monday 7th December at 9am, using this form. Put the date in your diary. We will be in touch with more information once you've signed up.

3) Print off this Christmas message ready to deliver to the MP.

My MP, Opperman (Hexham) isn't on your list - and would certainly not vote against the government, and the others are far away from me. I have already sent Opperman an email (composed by me, not on an organised mailing) and hope that will show him that somebody cares. However, I never get a reply, so I suspect I'm beating at a locked door. Good luck with the demonstration on Monday.

Unfortunately, up here in Scotland, the vast majority of MPs are SNP - and thus, don’t need to be ‘persuaded’ to vote against this government. Thus, I won’t be able to participate - but, good luck!!!
